Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Degree holders with min. 7 years experience, diploma holders with min. 15 years experience in large scale Piping & Structural Fabrication for Oil & Gas processing or petrochemical construction industry. Experience of handling fabrication with advance machineries like Automatic weld/CNC profile cutting etc. Be competent in reading, understanding engineering drawings.Be able to maintain Workshop in order to keep all machineries/facilities up-to-date to handle any work at shop. Conception of scheduling the machineries for preventive maintenance and keep in condition is very much essential. Have a sound technical knowledge of international accepted best practices and work methodology applied to carrying out major Fabrication works as required under the specification. Should be familiar with applicable codes like ASME/API etc. related to fabrication. Capable of preparing production plan and execute whole fabrication, testing, blasting-painting by monitoring groups of superintendent/supervisors/foremen and skilled and un-skilled workmen on schedule. Should be capable of handling contract and commercial matters effectively as applicable. Capable of finalizing the overall project program which includes project budget, scheduling & resource planning & allocation, quality program etc. Monitor productivity/ efficiency of various activities at project and guide the execution team for the improvement. Ensure availability of resources at shop for smooth execution and timely completion of the project, able to deal with sub-contractors and monitor the productivity for timely completion. Shall have in depth knowledge of HSE to ensure LTI free Project Completion. Shall have in depth knowledge of QA/QC function and ISO Standards.
